Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of The Singing Family website, curriculum, and related services operated by Nate Roberts Music LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy and Refund Policies.

Adult accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to create an account or purchase a subscription. The service is made for parent- or guardian-led family use. Children may participate under adult supervision, but may not create accounts or submit personal information directly to us.

Your account and family license

Each purchase is linked to one verified account. You are responsible for keeping its credentials secure and for activity under it. A current subscription grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased curriculum within your immediate household for personal, non-commercial educational use.

You may not resell, publish, distribute, publicly perform from, scrape, reproduce, or give account access to people outside your immediate household except where applicable law permits. Free sample material remains available through your account after cancellation.

Subscriptions, renewal, and taxes

Paid curriculum is sold as an annual subscription in U.S. dollars. Your subscription begins when Stripe confirms payment and renews automatically each year at the price disclosed before purchase until canceled. Applicable sales tax is added during checkout. Promotions are subject to the limits and expiration attached to the applicable Stripe promotion code.

You may cancel renewal through Stripe’s customer portal. Unless a refund applies, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term and access continues until then. Available track changes and bundle upgrades can be reviewed and confirmed through Stripe’s customer portal.

Payment problems, refunds, and disputes

Stripe processes payments and manages stored payment methods. If a renewal fails, access may continue while Stripe retries collection. Paid access may be suspended if the subscription becomes unpaid or canceled, after a full refund, or while a charge dispute is pending.

Our 30-day initial-purchase refund promise is described in the Refund Policy. Please contact us before starting a chargeback so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue directly.

Curriculum and service changes

We may improve, correct, replace, or reorganize curriculum and service features over time. We do not promise that every feature or item will remain unchanged. We may suspend access needed to protect customers, the service, our rights, or the rights of others.

Ownership

The service, curriculum, recordings, text, graphics, branding, and other materials are owned by Nate Roberts Music LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a license to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee a particular educational, musical, spiritual, or other outcome. We are not responsible for interruptions or events outside our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nate Roberts Music LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a legal claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law. Questions may be sent to contact@thesingingfamily.com.
